Things are GREAT! The program is phenomenal. I have nothing but respect and admiration for my professors and colleagues. I've learned and experienced a LOT in 4 weeks! I am not the only one here doing what I do. I miss our class, but have made some amazing friends in my new class. I still get to play piano for classes and am now the TD for the Experimental Media and Movement Arts Lab. While I am so excited by being somewhere new and meeting incredible artists,I have been increasingly plagued by the nagging apprehension of wondering if I will always be isolated by my ever insatiable curiosity and passion. I have hope that I will work it all out though, and I find comfort in the fact that our world is a small one, and we are all connected through our maddening addiction to living, breathing, eating and sleeping dance. Food in Columbus is so much better. HA! I love eating out, and I love shopping here. I shaved my head again. Its growing in - a little.

I know, I'm excited. Madeleine said this is the first time any student has received national (or international for that matter) recognition for work done in the major. I'm just really proud of our class actually. It seems like we're all out there doing cool stuff - have you heard from Haley?
Wow Amy - I didn't know you got to watch the rehearsals for Bill T. That's awesome! Great going girl! Hey - Choreobot got accepted at the Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities! I'm going in January.
I will for sure! I'm glad to hear it's going so well. I just opened my own dance studio here in Chillicothe. Not exactly what I had planned for the immediate future, but it just kind of worked out that way...so now I'm stuck haha. I love it though. I actually would like to have a few dancers from OU (alum or current) to choreograph something and perform it in my recital...but since you all are so far away you probably can't...but if you decide to come back to Ohio around the end of May...HOOK ME UP! Anyway, keep in touch and I'm coming to NY soon...I've got big upcoming travel plans!
